Hello, when I turn on the plug-in, the comments field has an html (code) view, not a visual one. And the function keys are at the bottom of the screen, such as the send comment button.

    Something isn’t quite working right.

The field should also not be formatted when pasting text – it should only be framed like regular text.

    Hi @danishsard

Which theme and plugins you are using in your site?

I have checked this plugin with latest WP version with default theme & Plugin is working fine.

There might be some confliction with your existing theme or plugins which you are using.

Kadcene theme (one of the most popular free ones on WordPress).

    I don’t think it’s a plugin problem.

Another add-on of this type works fine for me – but hasn’t been updated for 8 years (tinymce-visual-editor-comment)

However, this one has been updated recently – but again it doesn’t work properly for me. But why I don’t know.

    Hi @danishsard,

There was Some TinyMCE Loading Issue in Comment Form

I have fixed this Loading Issue in Latest Version.

Please Update Plugin With Latest Version. (1.0.4)

    Thanks.

Tell me if it’s worth considering this – so that pasting text doesn’t transfer formatting and codes.

To paste only plain text into the comment window. Otherwise, problems arise of unconscious transfer of formatting.

And is something like this safe for the website – just like a regular comment field?

Now it works very well. Beautiful even.

Would it be possible to add this editor also to the comment edit field – in the admin panel? That would be great – as long as it’s doable and safe. Because it would also make it easier to respond to comments in the administration in a nice way. As long as it does not undermine the security of the site.

See – it is a good idea to always paste text without formatting – if possible. Because people paste it themselves, they don’t know that it’s with codes when they write something in text editors.

    Thanks for the suggestions @danishsard.

Currently this plugin is providing TinyMCE Editor in Comment Form in Frontend Side Only.

But I have Considered both Suggestions for this Plugin.

I will Add Both feature in Plugin’s Future Releases. (Add TinyMCE Editor in Backend Side Edit Comment Section & Add Option for Enable / Disable Text Formatting Option When Copying Text in Editor)

There are so many possibilities. See another add-on that adds a key, for example, underline, etc. The text size is not Hx, but 12, 12, etc. px.

You can develop such a perfect supplement indefinitely. From what I know, many people do not want blocks, but a classic editor – such as this plug-in.

For me it is wonderful and worth developing. Many people don’t even know that such a thing exists, and they certainly would like to use it.

You also notice that you have access to headings in the commenting form. This is a mistake – because some people will start to spoil the hierarchy of content on the website – using H1/H2 headings for the content they create. They will use it to enlarge the letters – and this will spoil the actual hierarchy on the actual content page.

This should not be available to commenters on the form.

You can develop the addition to a great one – it only requires slight adjustments.

    Thanks for the feedback.
Currently Tinymce Editor is providing all heading tags, but I have consider your suggestion for future release.

Marking as Resolved because main editor Loading issue is resolved.
