Problem with photos on blog previews

  • Not sure if I’m missing something simple here? I am using Stained Glass theme and my photos won’t show with my blog post previews or on the side bar menu. If I click the blog post itself the photos are there when the page opens. I have tried using the “insert read more” tagline after the photos but that doesn’t seem to work with this theme. I want a photo to show on my main page with each blog post title, is there a trick to this?

    You can

    a). Set Featured Images:

    This is an image within posts and pages, displayed in the search results, blog and archive. A way to add an image to your post or page is to use the “set featured image” function (bottom right box in post editing screen). The featured image will appear in the content right below title in the post and page, and a small thumbnail image in blog, search results and archives.

    b). In menu Customize > Cusomize Layout > Blog Change Blog style to Content for displaying content before <– More tag in the blog.

    Hi, I’ve installed WP yesterday and downloaded the Stained Glass theme. The problem now is that my media library does not function. When I upload photos I get a red error message saying “there has been an error during uploading, please try again later’. I’m working on this for hours now but cannot get it resolved. I already checked authorization data, it seems to be correct: chmod 755.
    What else can I do?

    Did a clean install, that did the trick.
