Problem with permalink with rewrite rule

    I have rewrite permalinks with some query vars, to make pretty permalink:

    I am using this function:

    But after implementing i saw source code there is only default permalink in og url and at other places.

    This is why when i am sharing url, then those dont have rewrite permalink url

    They have only default permalink.

    Please support rewritten urls in og url and other places.

    So that correct url could be shared.

    Hi Arun,

    If you change the permalink structure with your code, make sure you set filter or change the canonical link for WordPress as well (not Slim SEO, but WordPress). WordPress has a function wp_get_canonical_url to generate canonical URL.

    In Slim SEO, we simply use that function to get the canonical URL of the posts, pages and other custom post types for use in Open Graph and other places. Once you make your custom permalink work with WordPress canonical URL, it will work with Slim SEO.
