    Hi,
    In a markup template I’m using a field-level substitution parameter: [+terms:attachment_category(slug),single+]
following the examples given in the documentation.

This had been working fine until Ver. 2.97, but not with 2.98 — the field (slug) is ignored. The same problem seems to exist also with (term_id).

Has there been any change in the handling of this form of substitution parameters?

Thanks for your report. My investigation revealed that a change I made in version 2.98 introduced a defect that accounts for this issue.

I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20220207 that contains a fix for your issue. You can find step-by-step instructions for using the Development Version in this earlier topic:

PHP Warning on media upload with Polylang

Once the Development Version is installed you can rerun your terms: tests. The updated code will be part of my next MLA version, but in the interim it would be great if you could install the Development Version and let me know if it works for you. Thanks for uncovering and reporting this MLA defect.
