Problem with order of pages and sub-pages

Greetings!

I can’t get the ordering of pages and sub-pages to work.

My blog is @ https://prodos.thinkertothinker.com

I go to:

Manage >> Pages >> (Page management) >> Edit >> (Page Options) >> Page Order

But no matter how I alter the numbering of the page orders, they keep showing up in alphabetical order.

On another WordPress blog site I’m having the same problem with both page ordering and sub-page ordering.

I’ve searched the codex and forums but haven’t been able to find anything that could help.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
