Problem with new blog created when trying to get API key

  • Hiya,

    I signed up for a wordpress.com account so I could get an API key to activate Akismet on my blog. However, I now seem to have a blogspace over there.

    Does anyone know if you can just re-direct that to your proper WordPress blog? Or are you kind of stuck with it?

    Apologies ‘cos I know this isn’t a WordPress.com support site, but it is kind of related to my WordPress installation on my own site!

    Any help would be appreciated – it’s just kinda annoying having a blank blog I’m not using just to get that key!

  • Right now the blank blog stays – you need the blog to get the key and deleting the blog deactivates the key.
    Just forget about the .com blog ??
