Problem with moving domains

I have a problem similar to this one however the solution presented does not work for me.

I am moving my blog from one domain to another:

1. Ftp’ed all files from one domain to the other
2. Exported the DB using the following article
3. Manually editied the DB backup file to replace old_domain with new_domain
4. Successfully imported the DB using this article
5. Edited wp-config to use the new DB name on the new domain

When you go to my new blog on the new domain you get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/vfhmfm/public_html/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 533

Any help would be appreciated.
