• Hi,
I’m having a problem with the automatic added Cart icon in the menu.
The settings are in “Appearance / Customize / Woocommerce / Menu Cart”

One of the settings is “Display”.
After installing oceanWP this Display setting is: “?con and Cart Count” and this is correct in the Menu line.
When i try to change to only “Icon” nothing happens. Also when I change to “Icon and Cart count and cart total” also nothing happens.

After adding some Products I see “Icon and Cart count and cart total”, but again the option to change this Display is not responding.

Would be great to have this solved.
    Thanks

  • Hello,

Apologize for the delay in response.

If you are using the child theme, please try to switch to the arent theme and check.

And disable all the nonocean plugin except woocommerec and check if it is working or not. If yes, enable the one by one plugin, and refresh the page after enabling each plugin, to check the conflict issue.

    Hi,

Thanks for helping. To clarify: I created a WordPress website, with Theme OceanWP, and plugin Woocommerce. So no special plugins at all. I even disabled the Ocean Extra plugin.

It looks like some kind of caching problem. I clear cache by executing F5 or Ctrl-F5 .
    The problem:
    1. I start with in the Display field : I + C + T (Icon + Count + Total)
    2. I change in the display: I + C , and Publish. This setting remains in the Display field, but not in the browser in the backend and also not in the browser in the frontend .
    in both browsers it is still I + C + T , also after several F5’s and Ctrl-F5’s
and after waiting for quite some time.
    3. Only after stopping and restarting the Browser the problem disappears.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

I apologize for the delay in response.

Yes, it could be a caching problem because the settings work perfectly. Once you clear the cache, there will be no issue after that.

    Hi,

Still not quite correct, but possibly i’m using the wrong “clear cache”, or maybe it is due to some setting at the ISP?
Anyway, i can live with it, since the settings for Cart Menu are not changing frequently.
    Thanks.

have you also tried clearing your server cache, sometimes, that could be also an issue?
