Problem with Member Registration Optino page not showing

  • I had someone setup the S2 member site for me and they used a redirect for the Membership Options Page. I deleted that plugin and now it seems I cannot get my Membership Options page to show as my home page.

    Would someone please help me figure this out or do I need to pay fiverr again? I hope not, that place is getting expensive for me.

  • You should not be using your MOP as your home page. Those two, and your Welcome page, should always be different.

    I think you have misunderstood what the MOP is for.

    The MOP is the page to which someone is redirected when s/he tries to access content which s/he is not permitted to access.

    While this often means that the MOP is a good place on which to put registration buttons or forms, there is actually nothing to stop you putting such buttons or forms on other posts or pages (whether instead of putting them on the MOP or as well as doing so).

    So you can put whatever you like on your home page, including registration buttons or forms. It’s just that the home page cannot be the MOP.
