When using this plugin together with Litespeed Cache a strange problem occur…

When entering the page for the first time and the cookie pop-up triggers I inspect the page and check “Network”. I can see that Litespeed works as intended, as I see the header “x-litespeed-cache: hit”. I also see that the Litespeed function to use .webp images instead of .jpg works.

However, as soon as I approve all cookies the header changes to “x-litespeed-cache: no-cache” and the .jpg images are no longer swapped with their .webp versions.

I have added the cookies_and_content_security_policy under Exclusions in the Litespeed Cache settings as recommended on the plugin page on www.remarpro.com (the cookie plugin doesn’t work at all if I don’t).

Any idea what’s going on and if I am able to use this plugin together with Litespeed cache at all?

I have tried many solutions and even spent 2 hours with the Oderland support yesterday trying to figure this out whit no luck.

    Thanks in advance!

No, you’re actually right, even though this is the recommended way by Litespeed Cache … I’ve tested your site, and two others, and it’s the same thing.

Is there anything to do about this ar is this something that only the developers of Litespeed can sort out?

I really like your plugin, so I only want to change it to another cookie solution if i absolutely have to! =)

Thanks for your hard work, it is appreciated!

The way I see it, it is up to the Litespeed developers. Their exclusion of caching the cookie excludes the caching itself, so they need to fix that.
