Problem with linking to footnote anchors

Hi,

I am using the CommentPress Default theme for a project that has chapters with many footnotes. Your documentation recommends Simple Footnotes or fd-footnotes as good companion plugins. I am having the same difficulty with both.

The problem I’m having is that the anchor hyperlinks aren’t navigating down to the notes properly (and vice versa from the notes back up to the body text). I have to first select text somewhere in the paragraph containing the footnote before the hyperlinked superscript functions correctly. Otherwise, clicking on the footnote scrolls down quickly to the notes but immediately bounces back up to the body paragraph.
