Do you have the site setting in settings/general on spanish?

Please also check if there are language updates in Dashboard/updates => languages. If so, please update, then check again.

Let me know if that helps.

I see the cookie policy is in Spanish, only the banner not. But the banner settings are customisable texts, which are saved in the language that was active the moment the plugin was installed. In your case it looks like the site was on English when the plugin was activated.

If you go to Complianz/cookiebanner, You can try to use the “reset banner” button, which will reset the settings to the current activate language.

Alternatively, you can just change the texts in the banner to your liking.

@lauramark we didn’t change anything in that code. Is it possible you hit the reset button? Hard to say without knowing the exact chain of actions that led up to the current state. The texts on your banner are loaded from the database. So unless you have a translation plugin which handles string translations, like polylang or wpml, these texts are stored like this in the database.

You can edit them in the cookie banner settings. Does that work for you?
