Problem with Kadence Blocks Advanced Gallery and Virtue

    I set up a number of galleries using Kadence Blocks Advanced Gallery on my wife’s website which is using the Virtue theme. It looks like when you click on one of the images two layers are displayed. When you click the background or the X to close the Lightbox you have to click twice. The lower layer seems to have the page/image numbering and shows the first image clicked, while the top layer has the captions and the current image if you goes through a sequence.

    The settings I’ve used are:

    Gallery Type
    Masonry

    Link Settings
    Media File
    Full
    Lightbox
    Show captions in Lightbox

    Caption Settings
    Show Captions
    Bottom of Image – Show on Hover
    Force hover effect on Mobile

    All other settings are the defaults.

    The same problem exists on all of the Advanced Galleries which I’ve used on all of the pages under the Current Work and Earlier Work on the menu dropdowns.

    Can you let me know if I’ve done anything wrong, or if there’s a problem with the Theme/Plugin.

    Virtue Theme v3.4.5 (auto updates enabled)
    Kadence Blocks v2.1.15 (auto updates enabled)
    Virtue/Ascend/Pinnacle Toolkit v4.9.6 (auto updates enabled)

    I’ve tried deactivating all plugins except the two above with no effect.

    Thank you for reaching out to us and I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue.

    The Virtue theme has an option to enable or disable the theme lightbox. If this is enabled, images and galleries will open in lightboxes by default.

    To resolve the issue that you’re having with the Advanced Gallery block, do not select Lightbox on its Link Settings or disable the theme lightbox option in Theme Options > Misc Settings > Turn Off Theme Lightbox? option.

    Maybe there should be a warning against having both settings ON at the same time.
