Problem with Invite Anyone plugin

Hello,
With using the Invite Anyone plugin with BuddyPress, the person gets an email with this link to activate and register, https://mysite/register/?iaaction=accept-invitation&email=sales%40jojosp.com

With your plugin installed they can’t reach that page, it takes them to the register page even though registration is disabled. Is there a work around to get the above type of link to work?
