problem with initial letters of days in calendar

  • Hi !
    I have a little problem : the initial letter for days of the calendar on the side of my blog are incorrect. It reads “D L M M M V D” instead of “D L M M J V S” I’m French, I’ve got the .mo file for French.
    So I guess there is an error in that file, but I don’t know how to edit *.mo files in order to fix that.
    Can somebody tell me how to do ?

  • That information is also help in wp-admin/locale.php
    You could try altering it there ?

    Yes, I tried to fix it in locale.php : I replaced the S for Sunday with my French D for Dimanche and so on.
    And my calendar now reads : D L L L J V D
    I don’t understand what’s happening !
