It seems that Photon automatically resizes images and forces them to be larger than what they should be.

Could you go to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard, and deactivate the Photon module?

The language shouldn’t matter, no.

Your Media settings, however, give me more details about the problem. It sees you’re experiencing the issue that was reported here:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/2053

You and I see different things on your site because our screens don’t use the same resolution.

We’ll work on getting this fixed, and I’ll post again here as soon as I have some news.

In the meantime, I’m afraid I can only suggest that you leave Photon deactivated.
