Problem with image format on home page

    I’m migrating from wordpress.com to self hosted. And everything is fine and exactly the same except the home page (which for photos is the most crucial!)

    old site here – https://rowbes.wordpress.com/ – note large square-ish images

    new site here – https://rowbesphotography.com/wp/ – note squashed rectangular images
    I can’t seem to find whats wrong – is there a setting to change?

    Would really appreciate some help as want to get a lot more images uploaded.
