Problem with hosted WordPress

  • Hi! I have just started a new personal blogg using WordPress (https://www.digitalchatter.wordpress.com) and have a simple problem that I cant find a simple answer for.

    The menu bar at the top of my blogg has two options ‘Home’ and ‘About’. When you click ‘About‘ you get a “Error 404 – File not Found – Sorry, but the page you were looking for could not be found.” message. I have filled in the ‘About’ information on the set-up page but it just does not seem to display. I have even tried different templates/themes and the problem persists.

    Any help would be much appreciated (I hate menu options that don’t work).

  • Hi Peter. This is the support forum for the wordpress software itself, that people install to their own servers. Aside from the “feedback” link on your blog in the admin section, the only support at all for wordpress.com is through https://groups.yahoo.com/group/wordpressdotcom/ – an unofficial user group.
