• Hi there,

    Hope you are well.

I am experiencing an issue which I am finding really odd – I think it might be a bug?!

There are a few menu points under WooCommerce that, for some reason, I cannot hide for any of the roles. Some menu points are hidden perfectly well, but others seem to not want to be hidden. Here’s an example:

‘WooCommerce Product Subtitle’ (https://imgur.com/a/sbknVut) appear at all times even though it’s hidden for all roles (except for the administrator): https://imgur.com/a/fbpv8VW

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

NB. I am working with a multisite installation. I’ve tried to activate Adminimize on the whole network and on the individual sites, but that didn’t help

Hope you can help and many thanks in advance!

    Hi there @bueltge,

    Hope you are well.

I’m afraid that I’m still having issues with this and I am starting to wonder whether this could potentially be a bug…?

I’ve read your FAQ on GitHub, which led me to this post. However, after following the advice given in that thread, I’m still having problems.

I’ve recorded a video where you can see the problem. I hope you’ll take a look. Please find that here.

Also, you’re more than welcome to log into the site and take a look for yourself if that would be helpful?

I hope to hear back from you and many thanks,

    Jonas

Thanks for the video @skafte, helps to understand the topic on the menu item ‘Indstillinger’ (settings). MAybe you help me again. You have also active the debug option. So please after you open the dev tool via inspect, please switch to the tab ‘console’. In this frame you can see the settings globally from you as admin and the result of the current users. Please consider the slugs in this resulting view to check is the slug the same under the login of the Shop Manager as the slug in Adminimize on the settings page, there have you marked in the video.
Not seldom have a slug a different name after login with a other role – so than it is not possible to identify this via Adminimize. You must add this slug to the custom option, like the Visual Composer slug, there you have added in the settings.

    Hi there @bueltge,

Thanks for looking into this and for being willing to help!

I’ve tried to do as you said, but it looks to me like the slug is the same for all users (wc-settings). Please see this video where I inspect the situation.

    What do you think?

    Many thanks!
