Hello. I installed this plugin as I’ve been getting no memory fatal error and this plugin fixes the issue which is great. However I noticed it causes problem with my Google Analytics account, it tracks referrals only but no other traffic. Once I turned off Fast Velocity, my GA started tracking again but then I got the memory error again so have to keep it activated. Any thing I can turn on or off within settings to help with this issue?

    Thank you

    Hi there,

First, you should try to find out why the error occurs, by looking at the server logs if possible. That would tell you which plugin is causing trouble.

The alternative is to rename each plugin via sftp, one by one and see if the error still shows. Once you’re done, just rename it back to the original name and it should work as before.

If you do that however, do not visit the plugins page on the wp-admin area, else it will disable the plugin completely.

For google analytics, I have never experienced that error, so I’m not sure.

Does the google analytics file get merged together with the other js files (see the status page logs)?

Does it work if you disable html minification?
Does it work if you disable the “defer for pagespeed” option?

A quick solution would be to get your analytics code and copy paste it directly on your footer.php file, inside the theme directory. If you do that, you should disable the plugin you use for analytics, or make it blank so nothing is outputted on the page from it.

If you use a child theme or if your theme is not updated, it makes sense to do this.

Hey Raul, I never updated you but it did work with disabling html minification. Thanks.
