    Hello,

I’ve found what I think is a bit of a serious bug when using Forminator with Complianz and Recaptcha.

    If you are:
    – Using Forminator with a V3 recaptcha
    – Have Complianz installed and a preventing the recaptcha from displaying until you accept cookies

It is possible to fill out a form and submit it and lose all the contents of the form.

What appears to happen is that because Complianz has swapped out the recaptcha for a stand-in, the page submits without all the fields Forminator is expecting. Forminator then spots that the recaptcha is missing, and rejects the form, sending it back to the form with a “missing recaptcha” message. However, it doesn’t repopulate the form details so you’ve lost all you’ve entered.

You’ve got all the details in the post that was submitted, so I guess you can repopulate the forms, but it’s an edge case you won’t have anticipated if you aren’t working with Complianz. I’m also wondering if it’s possible to disable the submission button if the recaptcha isn’t loaded.

This is a really bad problem for us as we’ve quite a few application forms with big text areas in that will be lost if people haven’t accepted cookies, and not everyone is going to notice the recaptcha message and accept the cookies until it’s too late.
