problem with formatting

  • hi guys,
    i seem to be having some trouble with the formatting on my wordpress site. for example on the following post, you can see that half way down there is an indent which i have not put in there. when i put in the html of the page on a html editor it previews it fine so it is something i have done. i cannot seem to find what the problem is, i have tried disabling all of the plugins but the problem persists, suggesting that it is not a plugin problem. does anybody else have problems like this? any suggestions please?

  • It is caused by different CSS applied to different HTML element. If you use FireFox web browser, you can install FireBug plugin to see the HTML elements of your page easily, including the CSS style applied to those pages.

    Then you will immediately see the different CSS formatting as I said above.

    Solution: Try to unify the style for P and DIV elements, or choose one between the two for your content.
