Problem with FireFox

  • A client has reported that AWB has stopped working correctly with Mac FireFox. I don’t know exactly when it broke. I have tested the page with Mac Safari, Chrome, and Vivaldi, and with several iOS devices. All these browsers display the page correctly.

    With FireFox the image is not properly placed in its container, though the image overlay is positioned correctly. But the thin vertical bar, which on the other browsers appears to the left of the image, appears on the right in FireFox, and the image is horizontally displaced so the it is mostly hidden by the left edge of the clipping region.

    (An old Mac running FireFox 12 (2014) does not show this problem.)

    Background Size is set to Contain. The problem does not arise if it is set to Cover.

    The site uses a child theme of 2011. The site as at BlueHost and all available updates have been applied.
