    Ciao,

    sto riscontrando un problema anomalo sul mio checkout. A volte il sistema non rileva l’importo dedotto da eventuali sconti applicati al carrello. Questo vengono mostrati correttamente nel checkount ma una volta che si arriva sulla schermata paypal l’importo è senza lo sconto come se non gli venisse passato. Cosa può essere? A volte basta svuotare la cache ma a volte non funziona. Vieni, posso fare? C’è modo di forzare lo svuotamento della cache della pagina checkout?

    The issue you are encountering is not a commonly reported on, so I would expect that another plugin is affecting this behaviour and our plugin. I would start by finding out how you can reproduce this issue (100% of the time). Then, when you know how to do this, you can perform a full conflict test to rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments to see if the behaviour persists.     Hi, the problem only occurs when the user is not registered (and registration is done on the first order). In practice, the discount is shown correctly in the order summary but is not passed to the PayPal payment system which only shows the full amount without the discount

    it seems that the ajax call ?wc-ajax=ppc-save-checkout-form does not save the custom field used to validate the discount

    are you using the default WooCommerce discounts, or are you using any other plugin for this? It might be more effective if you open a private engagement with us, so you can securely share your system report with us?

    I’m using the Advanced Product Fields for WooCommerce plugin
    for the additional fields and the discount I apply it from the functions.php function
    I discovered that the problem is that it doesn’t save the custom field when I’m placing the order as an unregistered user and this field is the one I use to calculate the discount

    I also often have problems paying by credit card without a PayPal account, but this does not depend on the amount. The card number is taken but then the payment remains pending

    This is not something that occurs with the default setup of our plugin and WooCommerce, so we would need to see how we can reproduce this in order to help you out. We would need to know how your custom fields have been set up; this is why I have been asking you to create a private engagement, so we can exchange details easier.

    Without more details, there is not much we can do. This is an issue that only occurs on your environment, so we can’t help you via .org until you open a private engagement.

    The problem is not resolved.
    I simply didn’t find the time to open the private ticket, it’s unfair even towards senior developers to report a problem as resolved even if it isn’t

    Hello @aganis,

    You can still open the private thread, we can investigate and update this thread if we find out what is causing the problem. However, since no response was received for 2 weeks, we follow our process and close the thread. This does not mean we are not willing to help, this is just a way to prevent threads from being left open and not being worked on.
