Problem with Featured Images

    I’ve got a question regarding Featured Images. And we would like to use WordPress also as an image bank. It happens more often that we want to include an uploaded photo in several contributions.
    However, the caption, title, etc. should be independent of the image.

    Means (an example):
    We have a picture of an elephant.
    In post A is said to have “a sugar-sweet animal” the Featured Image with the elephant called “Dumbo” and the caption.
    In contribution to B (selbiges above) have the title “An elephant” and the caption “circus animals are poor animals” the Featured Image with the elephant.

    Conclusion:
    We need some way to hang the meta data of pictures CONTRIBUTION DEPENDENT to the Featured Images.
    If necessary, would be the ideal solution, that a Featured Image or an image in the database has some defaults, and then we can complete / override depending on contributions.
    The next time you use should we again have the same opportunity.

    A duplicate uploading the image takes NO EVENT in question.
