Problem with Facebook Widget

    Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
    I updated my Jetpack today to version 3.8, now i have a problem with the cofiguration of the Facebook Widget. When i activate the widget the options “show prfile images” and “show title picture” are activated. My problem is that i cant deactivate the option “show prfile images”. When I remove the hook in the cofiguration site and press “save”, the cofiguration sites reloads and the hook is back there.

  • I just noticed the same problem! I’d already been having trouble with the Facebook widget and with the update discovered this new problem!

    Thank you both for the reports. Other users reported that problem a couple of days ago, and we tracked down the problem to a change we made in 3.8 to avoid errors when saving widget settings in some cases. Unfortunately, by fixing that issue we created a new one. We’ll get this fixed in Jetpack 3.8.1, and you can follow our progress here:

    We’ve fixed the issue in Jetpack’s development version. The fix will be included in the next Jetpack release, but you can already see the changes here if you’d like to apply the patch on your own site:
