Problem with FaceBook Feed

  • Hi there,

    We’ve noticed that the FaceBook feed in our company footer seems to have stopped working entirely on newer iPhone devices, but it still works fine on older ones, as well as Android and desktop computers.

    Any idea what might have changed to cause this please?

    Hi @lbsepos,

    WP Socializer uses the Facebook widget/SDK from Facebook. There is no special code from WP Socializer for different devices.

    Can you please go to this page – https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin/ and enter your facebook page URL?

    Confirm if the widget is shown in the preview.

    It is possible that the newer browser/OS is blocking facebook’s code from loading as a privacy feature.

    Hi Aakash,

    Yes, the preview appears just fine on that page – at least on my PC. I can’t check on a newer iPhone, but will do so next week.
