    Hi there,
    i’m using this theme :
    https://theme.co/pro/
    and one of their extensions:
    https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-facebook-comments/83

But their plugin won’t change the language to my site selected one (german).
I have try’d to get some help form the developer but he supposed there is a conflict with your loco translate because of the admin setting language of their plugin, here is his quote:

I checked and the locale that is pulled is en_US, this issue could be related to your translation plugin and maybe it’s picking up the locale that is set in admin. Unfortunately, I can’t troubleshoot or provide support for the translation plugin. But you may try this temporary fix.

Here is the support thread and maybe you can help me to set it to de_DE and ignore the admin set language of this plugin, becaus the settings page of it is in english.

Loco Translate doesn’t control your language setting. It doesn’t ever pull in a locale for loading translation files other than its own.

If you’d like help working out what’s wrong, you’ll need to post a free download for the plugin.

    Hi, ok that’s really strange.

    How can i contact you?

You are contacting me. I only offer WordPress support via this support forum.

If your plugin is commercial, the vendor will have to open up their source code or support their own customers fully.

I’m marking this as resolved because the problem doesn’t appear to be related to my plugin. If you can provide evidence that it is, then feel free to reopen the issue with a way to demonstrate the bug.

    Dear Tim,
i am so sorry, with the theme developer we found out the “bad boy”.
It was an addon from the Envira Gallery Plugin which also use a facebook api and haven’t a variable to set the right language and their code is above all others.

So i set it to my language and finally the theme addon also was in the right language, how i said it was just guess of the developer, but with your note we found the right conflict.

    I apologize for the inconvenience,
    Regards ??
