I installed a new WordPress console. Among the first things I normally do is to immediately activate Wordfence Security in extended mode.
In this case, clicking either on Optimize Firewal, on Restore Default nothing happens as if the links were disabled.
The link is always this https: //dom.ext/wp-admin/admin.php? Page = WordfenceWAF & subpage = waf_options #

By checking the Wordfence Diagnostic tool, no problems emerge, all the items are green. Also in this case the restore button seems disabled.
    https://atomigames.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=WordfenceTools&subpage=diagnostics#

Going back to another installation I opportunely modified the php.ini, user.ini, htaccess files and copied the wordfence-waf.php file to the root

Back in the WP console, Wordfence apparently tells me that Extended Protection is active

Now in addition to understanding what may be the cause of this problem (the first time it happens to me and I need at least 20 other WP installations on the server), it is also understanding if the changes made manually are valid and guarantee an optimal level of security.

I have sent diagnostic report with my Forum ID

    Thanks for your interest.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @olgerva

Even though you appear to have the use of the phpinfo function disabled on your server your report says that the firewall is in Extended Protection mode.

It appears that you were able to resolve this?
