Hi,

I’m using EM with WPML and WPML compatibility plugin. My site is bilingual, catalan (main language) and spanish. I am using the events_calendar shortcode on my homepage and the provided calendar widget on the sidebar.

The calendar works correctly on the catalan version but it’s not working on the spanish one. When you click into a day, you should be directed to the event or event list. It works in catalan but in the spanish site it directs to a not found page.

My site is https://www.materiabcn.com. At the moment I have disabled the calendar in the spanish version (it shows a non-functional html calendar), but I’ve created a page for you to check it. Here it is:

Catalan version: LINKS WORKING
Spanish version: LINKS NOT WORKING

Looks like you may have fixed it? The two pages looks the same to me.

If it’s still not working, try resaving your Permalinks settings.

@caimin_nwl I haven’t fixed it. Both pages look the same, that’s not the problem. The problem is with the links. Check a link in the catalan version, you’ll find events. Click any link in the spanish version, you’ll get a “not found” page.

@caimin_nwl I’ve also resaved permalink settings but it’s not solved.

it’s because we create special permalink rules for calendar day pages based off the events page, but our compat plugin doesn’t do this for additional languages.

noted this down and will tackle this along with the other pending WPML stuff (sorry, haven’t been able to get to this yet but will very soon!)
