Problem with Elementor Columns

  • I have a problem with elementor free version 3.2.5. When I add columns, usually they are horizontal automatically, but I get them stacked vertically. It is very hard to create pages that way. I have noticed it on two different WordPress installments on different servers and domains.

    I have tried to disable all plugins leaving only Elementor active and still get the problem. I have tried different browsers (Chrome/Firefox) as well with no results. I have only WP Residence installed as a theme and a child theme. However, I tried it with Theme Twenty Twenty-One and it still does the same thing.

    Now, when I put elementor in Safe Mode, the columns show correctly (horizontal).

    Can anyone help me, I’m on a deadline to finish up a website.

    I just realized that I was building a page with template Elementor Fullwidth. When I switched to Theme, I got the columns, side by side like normal. Very weird. Just throwing some more light to the problem.
