Problem with e-mails sent on wrong triggers

We have a problem sending emails through LearnPress.
We use WooCommerce and the LearnPress-WooCommerce Connector Plugin to process the payment:

For some time now, emails are no longer being sent correctly via the LearnPress email settings. The emails are being sent, but to the wrong triggers.
We have configured two emails to be sent when a new order is placed, one to the customer, the other to the admin.
Our tests have shown that the emails are only sent when the order is changed to “processing”.Testing has also shown that the placeholder variables {{order_date}} and {{order_id}} are no longer exchanged.
We are unsure what the reason for this could be and need help here please.
The only thing that seems strange to us, and which could possibly indicate a problem, is a different order ID between WooCommerce and learnPress.
While a new order in WooCommerce gets the ID 1000, the same order in learnpress is displayed with the ID 1001. We cannot say whether this is really the problem.Thanks for any help.
