Problem with display posts shortcode

I’m not sure its the fault of the P2 theme I am using but I pretty much followed the instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/
The posts are rendered in a page but not immediately. I always have to refresh the page to see the posts displayed in the page. I’ve tested using most browsers and always the same.

Any ideas anyone?
