• Hello,
I am using two of your plugins:
WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce – WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce.

There is some problem in “WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce”.
I entered the price in the general tab, then in the plugin I entered a 20% discount in the discount box, activated the “Change price” option, but the prices are not displayed discounted, nor does the total have a discounted price.
However even in your online demo, I see that your modular product does not show the discounted prices even though it seems that you have set a 10%, even though I have selected the products.

On the other hand, the discounts on “WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce” work well. But it would be useful for me to use WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce as well.

    Thank you

    Hi @woodypad,

First, kindly note that in composites that use “Only base price” pricing method, the subtotal and total prices won’t change anyhow. It’s fixed by the nature of that pricing method.
Include base price: The total price equals the sum of the base price and prices of all components.
Exclude base price: The total price always equals the sum of all components’ prices only, regardless of the base price.

When “Only base price” is chosen, the total price won’t change when products of different prices are chosen or even you set up the discount price or choose ” Yes” in “Change Price” option

If you choose the “Include/Exclude base price” option, make sure you have chosen “Yes” for the “Change price” option in the plugin setting to make the total price change accordingly based on the product choice.

Therefore, pls kindly check again your settings of price in the back-end of WPC Composite Products to make sure that you choose the right price for showing.

You can read more information about pricing and discount of composite products in this articles

    Hello,
    Thank you for your answer.
    Maybe I haven’t explained well.

The plugin works, it shows the discounted price on the product list, only if a discount is set on the single product.

If, on the other hand, the discount is set as a total, for example 30% on everyone, the total that comes out is discounted by 30%, but the prices of the products in the list are not shown discounted. So the user does not realize that the total is discounted by 30%.

    Is this behavior normal?
    Thank you

    Hi @woodypad,

Can you please be more specific with some screenshots of the backend settings and frontend situation on your site? It’s best if you can provide your site link or link to the page with custom related products so that I can help you?

    Best regards.

This has the effect on the customer that he is not buying something at a discount. This example is simple and it is easy to add up.
But when there are more products, they think that the total is just the sum of the selected products.

    Hi @woodypad,

To show the discount for components in the composite products, pls go to the settings of WPC Composite product and edit each components >>> Add the new price in each component tab. https://imgur.com/a/w99YB4s

After that, you can choose ” Exclude Base Price” for the total price https://imgur.com/a/6rki8gu
and ” Yes ” in Change Price in general setting of WPC Composite product

Next, don’t forget to update option. Then the discount of components will show in the front end

If you try to change above thing but the issue still happens. I think there might be an incompatible with your theme and other plugins

In order to check if this is an issue triggered by another plugin or from inside our plugin, please follow my below instructions. I need to make sure that our plugin is functional with the basic WooCommerce & theme on your site or not.

    – Create a full backup of your site and keep it in a safe place.

    – Updates all current active plugins on your site to the latest versions, so do WooCommerce and WordPress, too.

    – Switch the theme on your site to the WPClever theme.

    – Deactivate all other plugins, except for WooCommerce & our plugin.

    – Check the front-end behavior.

Please follow these steps. If after taking these steps and our plugin is working again, then it’s another plugin or theme on your site has caused this, you can find that out by reactivating plugins one by one to find the culprit.

    Hi
So I confirm as I told you before that the plugin works as you describe.
It seemed obvious to me that it works like your other plugin, where you can optionally enter a price, per product, or overall. In both cases I will have the display of discounted products.
Instead in this plugin, to show them discounted I have to apply it only individually in the product.

    Thank you
