• Hi. Thank you for the great plugin!

I had a problem with the delivery zones.
In the plugin settings I have selected the delivery zone “Germany”.

However, the plugin shows a message for Austria too.

Is it possible to hide the message about free shipping for Austrian residents?

And the second question. For the zone Germany we have free shipping from 29 euros, for Austria – from 49. Is it possible to customize the plugin for several zones at the same time?

The plugin automatically adopts the free shipping settings assigned to each zone, aligning with the default behavior when your shipping methods are configured with the standard WooCommerce options. It seamlessly integrates with the Flexible Shipping plugin but may not function as expected with other shipping plugins. To address such scenarios, we provide a Custom Threshold option in the General Settings. Once activated and configured, this feature ignores all free shipping settings in WooCommerce and other plugins across all zones. Instead, it displays a progress bar, indicating progress towards the specified amount set in the custom threshold.

    1. Have you configured free shipping thresholds/amounts using any other shipping plugins?
    2. Is the Custom Threshold option enabled in your General Settings?

    Thank you very much!

Yes indeed, when I customized the Threshold for each shipping zone, then FSL started to change the value in the free shipping option.

But since the cart is Ajax, the user had to reload the page before the cost in FSL would change.

I think this is a problem on our side and I need to set up something like IP detection to offer the right shipping right away.

For shipping zones, we use the Flexible Shipping plugin.

Thanks for your reply, I think your reply suggested all possible options on your end ??

To figure out the right zone, users are required to input their address—unless they’re already registered or returning customers. For a seamless experience, you can set the default zone in the General Settings. The free shipping settings associated with this default zone will be applied to showcase a progress bar for new customers before they input their address.

It’s important to note that the progress bar should dynamically update when a customer modifies their address. Address updates trigger an additional ajax request, ensuring that the cart or checkout aligns with the new information. This includes updating the progress bar to reflect the corresponding zone settings.

If, for any reason, this isn’t happening as expected, could you please provide a link to your website so that we can figure out what’s up?

    Thank you very much!

Yeah, I get the address thing.

On the point about updating the country in the cart.
Here is an example of a product: https://codenot.ru/produkt/patronus-anti-giardien-spray-500ml/

After adding the item to your cart, please go to the checkout page: https://codenot.ru/warenkorb/

Change the country from Deutschland to any other country and you will see that the cost of free shipping will not change. If you reload the page – it will change.

@vox-terman Do not use short links in these forums again, that has been abused in the past and is expanded when found. I have expanded yours.

Yes, it doesn’t update. Is it a custom build checkout or the default theme checkout?

This is done with the help of Elementor.

Apologies for the delayed response. We’ve encountered a bit of a challenge here. Typically, WooCommerce automatically updates the “Order Review” section when there are changes affecting shipping, payment options, or prices. Unfortunately, this seamless integration doesn’t extend to the Elementor on your checkout page. My familiarity with Elementor is a bit limited, so I can’t confirm if there’s a workaround within its settings.

To resolve this, you might consider delving into Elementor templates and adjusting the code, or tweaking our plugin by customizing the code to align with your requirements. Another option is exploring the PRO version, which offers additional positions on the cart and checkout pages. In the PRO version, there’s also a shortcode available for placement anywhere on the site, be it the product page, sidebars, and more.
