Hi, thanks for your excellent plugin.
My problem is I am trying to use 2 xml files and I want to export a field manufacturer. At start I was using one xml file and I used a static value as the name of the manufacturer.

I tried to solve this creating a custom field named it manufacturer and connected it to the product feed pro. Problem is it doesn’t respond to it like it’s not there at all.

    Is there a simpler solution?

  • Hi tasos10,

Thanks for reaching out and using our plugin. Just to understand you correctly:

    • You created a custom field named manufacturer which shows on your product edit pages and you made sure you filled in values for your products in that custom field?
    • You then mapped that manufacturer custom field to the brand field of your feed?

    If so, make sure that:

    • Your feed is not being cached (are you using a caching plugin)?
    • Make sure you mapped it to the correct custom field. Are you sure there isn’t a similar looking one in your drop-downs?

Hope any of the above helps.

    All the best,
    Eva

    Hi thanks for the response.

I have disabled the caching plugin and I have used a Manufacturer(custom attribute) I thought that this was the correct one and some woossea (added custom attribute).

    is this a logical solution?

    Hi tasos10,

The woosea attributes are coming from this feature of our plugin which is for our paid Elite users only: https://adtribes.io/add-gtin-mpn-upc-ean-product-condition-optimised-title-and-brand-attributes/

So unless you are using this paid feature you can’t use any of the woosea attributes in the field mapping section.

So make sure you are selecting the correct manufacturer attribute from the drop-downs, you filled in the values for that attribute on your product edit pages and make sure your feed is not cached.

    All the best,
    Eva
