• Hi. Running shop with WPML. Two currencies, main USD and 2nd is EUR. When I generate feed for Italy and chose currency eur, it still uses usd. Solution could be using _regular_price_wmcp, but it contains price as {“EUR”:”16″} and so it shows in feed. Can I simply change price to “16” in Regular price WMCP?

I’d like to clarify, CTXFeed doesn’tuse fixed price. It always uses currency exchange, even if there’s no currency exchange it won’t show fixed price. The solution would be to change in options {“EUR”:”16″} to 16, but i dont know if it will work for curcy

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue with currency conversion in the feed generation process.

Firstly, regarding your statement “I generate feed for Italy and chose currency eur,” I’d like to clarify that our plugin, CURCY, does not have a feature that allows for changing the currency in the admin dashboard. Therefore, I’m unsure how you are selecting the currency EUR during feed generation.

Regarding the solution you proposed using the meta “_regular_price_wmcp” and converting it to text, I want to mention that while it’s technically possible to convert it to text, it’s not a straightforward process within our plugin’s functionality.

    Best regards

Hi, thanks for prompt reply. I’m using CTX Feed to generate fb and google feeds. Both curcy and ctx claim these two plugins are fully compatible. However I wish to report they are not – CTX will never use fixed currency as a price. but instead it will ALWAYS use currency exchange rate in generated feed.
