problem with comments in admin dashboard

  • dear friends, after updating to 3.6 version i have these problem. in admin dashboard, in comments section, i cant see all the comments as before. for example, if i have 16 comments for approving, it is not showing me all together as a list (to approve them by tick them all at once), but only the last one.it shows the number 16 (as approve), but to approve them all, i must go one by one. i must approve the first one, to shows the other, then the other and etc… these is very annoying and i can’t undestand what happened. any help, suggestion or something else i will appreciate.

  • Why don’t you go to Comments section (wp-admin/edit-comments.php) and approve them there (not in the dashboard)? There you’ll be able to mass approve them.

    yes in Comments section (wp-admin/edit-comments.php). propably i just mentioned right. there in Comments section is the problem. it show only one in each category. even in the all category it shows only one and i have 14.000 comments in the site from the creation date.

    In comments section, locate “Screen options” in the upper right corner. Increase the number of comments to show. Did that help?

    screen options here (wp-admin/edit-comments.php#screen-options-wrap) on comments section its not working. i click it and i am not get anything. as i see comments section works everywhere except there. is disable it. how i can enable these?

    Seems like you should try :

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Twelve theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Dear Media X,
    i return the site to twenty twelve and problem solved. comments showing correct. so i thought that is theme problem. i download another new theme, from the same site i had download in the past the current i have (mag..com) and tried also it, but the problem came back. we are sure that is theme problem, but is not only problem of the theme i had. what other you suggest. where i must look in my theme files os somewhere lse?

    i have setup a new fresh wordpress 3.6 site, and i put there the new theme i mentioned. now comments works good. so the new theme it has problem with the comments when i put it only to my curent site, which is also 3.6. what do you think?

    Those are the only themes supported on these forums.

    i am not asking for supporting of a theme sir. as you see, i didnt said the theme. i am asking for supporting mentioning some things. its diffrent!
