Problem with Comments and Categories Links

    Hi,
    I’m a new user to wordpress.
    Please take a look at https://forumblog.carmelis.net/index.php
    1. if you click at the comments and categories links for each post, you will receive an error page. why? what’s wrong with the generated links?
    2. what can I do to make the site automatically load the index.php when someone goes to https://forumblog.carmelis.net?
    this is a clean 1.5 installation. no changes made.

    with regard to accessing the index.php file, try editing your .htaccess located in your root directory. try adding something like this:

    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm

    the webserver would prioritize from left to right.

    thanks chinito, already tried. didn’t help.
    it works with apache, right? and my hosting service uses windows and IIS, apparently. I opened a ticket about it. I’m almost certain my first issue is resulting from the same problem, because the root folder has no way of interpreting the script in the url.
