problem with colors

I’m trying to change the colors and my new colors aren’t taking. I type the hex code in and first I have to click all around the box to get it to show up in the preview, but even after it shows up there the color on the schedule display is still incorrect. For example, I have the schedule headings color set to #ffffff, but they are showing up as #8A7979.
