• Hello!

I do not know coding and I need to know how to limit the excerpt lines showing on the CodeCanyon Premium Posts Slider. As it is now, each post has a different number of lines and my screen moves up and down each time the post slides to the next post. I’ve posted on their wall several times and contacted the developer to no avail. Had I know that I needed to have coding skills to make the program work properly, I would not have purchased it.

Does anyone have any ideas about how to do this? If you’d like to see what it’s doing, please view my site at https://www.essentialalchemist. When someone is trying to read a post, the screen will move up and down. ??

    Thank you!
    Sheen

    Hi!

Does anyone know how to limit excerpt lines in a post slider so that my screen doesn’t move up and down?

    Thank you!!

You’d likely need to set a fixed height in the CSS for the element(s) so they don’t change height – what plugin and/or theme is this? (Commercial products are not supported here so you will need to ask the vendor if that’s the case.)

    Hello WPyogi!

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I know very little about coding and am unsure as to how to adjust the css for the element. I’ve written codecanyon, who sold me the product, numerous times about needing help with this but they do not reply.

If you have any ideas I’d really appreciate it.

    Thank you!!

    Hi WPyogi,

Thank you for the heads-up. Where can I find support for css coding that will keep the page from moving up and down?

    Thank you again!

You might try asking on a CSS forum such as https://csscreator.com .

But it does seem like the vendor SHOULD provide better support for a PAID product – there are free plugins and themes that do better than that :). (just saying…)

    Thank you, WPhyogi!

The search continues. I agree 100% that codecanyon should be support their product. That’s the only plugin I’ve ever purchased…lesson learned. ??

    With love,
    Sheen
