    Hi,
I’m not sure BestAzon is working properly on my client website. It’s WordPress 4.3.10 with BestAzon Version 4.1. She uses short links, like this: https://amzn.to/2q66jXm — ID’s for US and UK stores are provided.

When the link is clicked in the UK it goes to ‘.com” instead of ‘co.uk’ -https://mkturnerbooks.co.uk/reviews/

    Please help

Thanks Alekgk. Let us check and we will respond back.

Quick question – how are you checking that the link is clicked from UK? Is the click physically happening in UK, or are you using a VPN service? Also, did you try from multiple computers/mobiles?

In some cases, VPN may not work well and the location may not be masked properly. In other cases, if the user is behind some firewalls, they may be perceived as coming in from other locations. That does not happen very frequently though.

Clicks are happening physically in the UK. As the client is in the UK and she’s definitely not using a VPN service.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Hello Alekgk,

As per our offline discussion, we have checked the clicks received from this domain and can confirm that the clicks are handled as expected – the users are taken to their local amazon store and uses the respective amazon tags.

We have also sent you the detailed log of all clicks – so you can validate.

Please let us know if you see any specific issue, and we’d be happy to help.

    Hi,

Yes, The problem has been resolved.

It was (I think) an issue with WordPress gallery and ‘WP Gallery Custom Links’ plugin. After changing the setting “Do not replace the URL (i.e. load redirect link on link click)” to ‘NO’ – links started to work just fine.

Thanks for all the help and five stars for plugin and support
