problem with cloaking affiliate link

  • Hi
    I want to cloak my affiliate link.
    I made the (recommends folder) and (productname.php) in that folder,then i uploaded this file to the server(godaddy.com) to webroot folder,then when i tested my link by actually typing in:
    https://www.mydomain.com/recommends/productname.php
    Instead of going straight to the merchants website, opened my website and showed this page: oops! not found this web page.
    What’s the problem?How can i resolve that?

  • Without an actual link to the page you have problems with no one will be able to tell you what to do. Besides, cloaking is discouraged and penalized by search engines such as Google. Why do you want to cloak the links?
