Problem with Child Theme and Yoast WordPress SEO

    I just installed Yoast SEO on a 4.1.1 WordPress Installation. The main theme is Enfold and I have had a developer customize pages for me which they did under a child theme.

    When the child them is activated the Titles & Meta’s, Social and a couple of other tabs are blank in the SEO settings (tab title is there but tab contents are blank with just a save button). If I go to the pages or post sections in wp admin the Yoast SEO fields are there and changes made appear on the pages. If I deactivate the child theme and just go with the main theme (enfold) all is OK.

    The problem is obviously associated with the child them code. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be so I can work with my developer to correct it.
