  • Hi there,

Ray here with WP eCommerce Support.

I can take a look at your issue if you can give me permission to switch your themes to default WP themes and disable all plugins but WP eCommerce temporarily.

Can you also make a backup of the current version that is working before I do any upgrade to the 3.8.14?

My email is [ redacted ]

    Thank you,
    Ray

Side bar: Ray? Please don’t take this the wrong way but as you are not listed as a plugin contributor or author could you please not post your email or attempt to contact people off of the forums that way.

This has come up before with other people. I don’t doubt that you are who you are and your 30+ support replies kinda prove that but posting contact info like that outside of the author and contributor is frowned upon here.

If the plugin author can vouch for you here then I can provide you a custom title “Official Real WP eCommerce Support Person of the Year” or something to avoid this in the future.

@jan: No problem, I will ask Dan to give me the plugin author status before posting another message here.

    Thanks!

@jan – thanks for checking in on Ray, he’s one of ours ??

Not sure if there is a way to distinguish “Support Staff” from “Plugin Author” – but we’ve got a few support guys who chime in here (edward.instinct, misulicus) as well. Would be great to be able to distinguish Plugin Author from Support Staff.

    Thanks Jan!

If you contact the forum’s mailing list with a list of the profiles involved, we could perhaps looking at changing the status of these profiles to “WP eCommerce Support” instead of just “Member”.

    I update to 3.8.14.1 – problem still exist ??

I have the same problem and had to roll back to the previous version. When you go to checkout the items in the cart just disappear.

It is all very well saying go back to default template but many of us have sites that depend on the amendments in the template to overcome things that wp-ecommerce does not do.

@rjkind can you post a website url so we can test ?

    (@sscorpio)

    my URL https://angelok.ru – but i back on 3.8.13.4
if you want to test – i will update to 3.8.14
or i can make you admin rights – say me you email

https://www.alfiedog.com – you cannot test I had to roll back to the previous version. I can’t leave a non working site.

sscorpio I don’t give someone else I don’t know rights to my live site. I cannot afford to do that.

    rjkind,

I don’t think sscorpio was suggesting that you send him your admin credentials. I believe his reply was in response to Mihai.

    Exactly.
I offered access of the administrator – to the author of a plug-in.
If it is necessary for it and will help to correct a problem.
