problem with categories

Hi, i’ve added many categories after rss update the articles were inserted in many categories but not the right category
in the homepage i have only the articles that belong to one category and if i click to another category only the title changes – the article are the ones of the same category
could you help me to manage categories and how to show only more than one categorie and the right category in homepage?? thank you
