    …or use the “ALT” tag as caption instead the “TITLE”, because the WP doesn’t allow this tag.

    That’s just how the Simplecolorbox script works. You could ask the Simplecolorbox developer if that is possible perhaps. But I’m not keen on deviating from how the original script works sorry.
