    Hello Sir,

    Since the update to v4.1.4 , we have been getting the captcha problem while logging in multiple sites of our clients.
    The captcha sometimes works & sometimes it doesnt work. It simply locks us out even though the answer for captcha was correct.

    We request you to please fix this issue of captcha.

    We read the solutions in similar threads but disabling captcha seems a temporary solution & as such we fear it will increase the chances of attacks of brute force logins on sites.

    If it will take a lot of time for fixing the issue of captcha then for now can you please direct us the the download link of version 4.1.2 ,it was the previous version running & is captcha worked without any issues on the sites…
    Browser : Firefox 48.0

    Regards

    Hi ,
    thnks for fast reply mbrsolution ??
    we already tried all solutions but that does not fix the captcha problem

    You can see the last comment of user “pandorawombat” on that thread. he too seems to have that problem on sites.

    Inspected source code for hidden input field with “name=aiowps-captcha-string-info” & its present there just below the numerical calculation like –

    <div class=”aiowps-captcha-equation”>
    14*7
    <input name=”aiowps-captcha-string-info” id=”aiowps-captcha-string-info” value=”——–” type=”hidden”>

    =====

    In that thread u mentioned that “name=aiowps-captcha-string-info” was removed in latest version 4.1.4 but as it seems to be still there after updating..u think its a bug which was not able to remove it in update ?

    Awaiting reply

    Hi, in that case try the following. Disable and delete the plugin and install a fresh copy. Check again to make sue the following “name=aiowps-captcha-string-info” is removed. Then check your captcha to make it is working.

    Make sure you clear any cache, like browser cache and if you are also using a plugin and/ or CDN.

    Report back please.

    Thank you

    Tha’s not quite correct – we removed that field in our first recent update of this feature (4.1.3) and then we put it back after further testing just before we released 4.1.4. So in summary that field should be there in version of 4.1.4.
