• Hello

I made a website for my product using the Avada theme and sliders.

The summaries of recent blog posts on the lower part of the homepage show “NAME, DATE, DUE DATE” as first words of the summary. This should not be.

I suspected my opt-in magic boxes in all blog posts (which have these exact words in them) to be responsible. But they are not. I disabled them, saved, checked, and the words still appeared.

Do you have any clue of a solution to erase these words in these summaries?

(Avada Theme support said, they were not responsible.)

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi,

If I do any of these things you suggest (specially deactivating the plugins) would I loose all the work I did through the plugins? for example with Magic Box, would I have to create all the forms again? Just checking…

    Thanks

    Rakel

No – the plugin’s setting should be saved in your database.

Its magic action box the one causing this problem.
I guess I have to contact them about this. Unless you have another way of helping me with this.

    Thank you,

    Rakel
