Problem with Blog pattern

    If I create page called “News” and then I add ready pattern (two column) Poe Blog on that News page everything works ok in preview mode but when I save News page it show only page name News+ date, no any articles/blog posts. What Im doin wrong?

    Hi @einoleino,

    When you edit the main post archive, I believe you must go to Site Editor → Templates → “Index”, and add the blog pattern there. You also need to add the same pattern to the “Archive” template and the “Search” template, if you want all archive/search pages to look the same.

    Creating a custom page and adding a blog pattern directly to it won’t work, since the patterns are set to inherit the query from the current page, and assume that they are added on the template for either Index or Archive.

    Thanks for info. I see what you mean. Custom page was the key. Ill have change my design or use default article/blog layout.
